Wow, how do they get away with that? The box appears to say with Google on it even.
Even weirder is, why wouldn`t they put android on it?
The G1 A/C adapter has a 1.0 amp.
The Green Android USB Charger is .5 amp. It will charger SLOWER. :(
The .5 is the USB standard specification rate. Same as in your PC. Charging a battery faster causes more heat and potentially a shorter battery life.
A reason not to put an ndroid on phone is it may be harder to do so with unsupported/buggy hardware, it is linux afterall and we all know the hardware woes w/ linux… you have to put in time to write device drivers for there… this company is trying to save money
