No word yet on price… but we’re hoping this thing comes in with an eye on affordability. If it does, you could see this pretty little thing be carried around by a LOT of new found Android fans. Props to HTC for their seemingly endless run of awesome Android’s – talk about leading a revolution!
UDPATE: Just found this tidbit on pricing, “The HTC Tattoo will be available from free on contract (details according to operator)”

what is it with europe ? most phones are first released there… htc samsung lg are asian companies and, if not the first, at least new launches are rolled out at the same time between asia and europe…. saying it because….i’m asian… i can understand the us ‘coz they have different waves or something like that, but asia ?…
That’s great news!
The HTC website is apparently being updated as we speak, and the product description & tour is now available!

Was looking good then I saw the screen resolution. :-(
Really would like to see HTC put out an Android phone with the Touch Pro 2’s hi-res screen. Please! :-)
PLZZ be for T-Mobile
I’m a very big fan of physical keyboards, but considering the price and HTC Sense added to this phone, if the touch keyboard is decent I’ll probably try to get it :)
Well i live in the US so imagine how we feel over hear. usually we see tons of releases overseas UK well before anything comes to the states. Over seas cell phones usually are leaps and bounds from what we actually get Hell im still waiting for Video Phone services from tmobile lol so yeah but this this phone woul be a nice line up for tmobile the more android the better. I guess im just not liking the fact that allot of the HTC phones arent coming with keyboards or they havent atleast dropped a new model of one since the G1. DOnt get me wrong nice phones but id like to see and annoucement for one that includes a full keyboard as well as the VK.
I’ve been monitoring phandroid for release information on new android phones by HTC. I’ve heard that the HERO hardware is somewhat slow. Haven’t heard anything about the performance of the Click/Tattoo yet. Has anyone tested this device? And what about the Lancaster? Any more news on that one? Having a fold-up qwerty keyboard could be useful..
Anybody else notice the FM Radio quoted on the HTC site. Don’t think Ive seen that mentioned before, do you think the software for that will be HTC only or a part of Android.
I did of course mean the Touch Diamond 2. D’Oh!
It looks like the sprint version Hero in a way. Just the design looks a little better.
2.8 inch screen is too small for typing on virtual keyboard.
some pre-pricing from the UK from eteller

sim-free unblocked that is of course!
I have the G1 and I love it, I still cant get over alll the stuff that it can do. Although my camera on my phone is not as good as this one it still takes awesome pictures! Cant wait to see what else these guys come out with!
When will AT&T get any kind of Android phone?
Europe has become a great starting market for cellphones for several reasons. It is best to explain why the other two areas (Americas and Asia) are not preferred. In Asia cellphone competition, probably the most frenzied on the planet, results in new cellphones dropping in price very fast as the next great phone will debut in 3…2…1. As for the Americas, in particular the U.S. and Canada, cellphones are bundled through carrier plans and the carriers only purchase phones in bulk and at discount prices. This means that the bargain shopping Americas is not a great place to ever premier a new product.
I’m waiting for this release! Hope it will be not simple mobile gadget but a complete, independent masterpiece!
Well..i’m still curious about the keypad style. Is it QWERTY or not??
Too bad the Tattoo still features the old and slow processor as in the G1 and the rest of HTC’s Android phones on the market today.
Its an awesome designes phone. Check the latest release pictures here: http://www.nyemobiltelefoner.dk/ny-htc/htc-tattoo.html
