By It looks like the final retail packaging for the Motorola CLIQ has been leaked over at LeakDroid. Not the fanciest cover but the concept of adding featured applications that come pre-installed on the handset is a cool idea that was implemented well. Interesting to note the YAHOO! logo is in full view but the Google inclusion only includes the “Talk” icon. Will it have all the apps we initially spotted?
The above picture is really as exciting as it gets in terms of the box… but head on over to Leakdroid if you can’t help but seek out every last detail! Now the countdown begins to the rumored October 19th pre-order date!
Uggh… just re-enforces my earlier thoughts on this. It’s a toy for skater-boys, not a phone. Where’s the serious Android phone from Motorola? Why did they have to make their initial launch a TOY?
The “serious” phone is suppose to be the Sholes, I think.
I’m sure they see the iPhone as a “toy” so maybe that is the market they wanted to target first? Besides, isn’t Tmo primarily thought of as a “kids” carrier with their sidekick history and all?
I’m not sure what else you’d expect from a device that features a social networking widget as its primary UI?
I’m just venting. I was so ready to hear the Sholes get announced and to jump on it the second it was available. There was so much hype about Moto launching a fleet of Android phones, and then they announce one crappy phone, on one crappy carrier. The Sholes can’t get here fast enough.
