If you are unfamiliar, HipLogic is an app that is currently only available for Symbian and WinMo based devices. And now, HipLogic has announced that they will soon be releasing an Android version. HipLogic gives you one touch access to all your various social networks, news stories, and apps, all in one. HipLogic Live is always-on, so you will get live notifications of status updates, news, sports and entertainment highlights.
“We’re seeing an increased demand for a custom solution as the number of Android devices and offerings explode onto the market. HipLogic will empower operator networks and OEMs with the capability to create differentiated Android services and experiences” said Mark Anderson, CEO of HipLogic.”
Sounds like a good organizational tool to keep track of all your social networking applications: facebook, twitter, and myspace. Maybe since it is for Android it will also include the new Google Buzz? Here is an example/demo of HipLogic running on Windows Mobile to give you some sort of reference point:
Anyhow, should be interesting to see the Android version. Anyone a fan of it on a Symbian or WinMo device and excited to see it on a Android smartphone?

isnt that pretty much what motoblur does currently? this app wouldnt be of much use to the cliq, backflip, or devour huh
This reminds me of FlyScreen, but it’s not as pretty.
Yeah, it looks like what motoblur does. So those without the blur on their phones will be able to have quick access to social networking things. And hopefully it won’t force close half as much as motoblur does on my cliq.
I don’t really care mucho for this….but once again I couldn’t help but notice how tacky winmo looks….sure hope that win7 looks alottt better….
