We already told you about the Acer beTouch E110, and now we are pleased to announce that it has just been approved by the FCC and is capable of launching on AT&T’s 3G network. However, just because it is capable of running on AT&T’s network here in the U.S. – does not mean that it will. It could also launch via Rogers in Canada. (Who also just announced the Acer Liquid e.)
Just to catch you up with some of the Acer beTouch E110 stats:
- Android 1.5
- 2.8 inch QVGA touchscreen display
- GPS
- 3.5mm headset jack
- social networking integration
- Acer web widgets
- 3.2MP camera
- 256MB ROM
- 256MB RAM
- ST Ericsson PNX6715 processor at 416 MHz.
With the stats of an entry level Android device.. it may not be suitable for the Android lover in many of you. So.. how about the Android lover’s children?
Acer beTouch E110 should be available sometime in March for those in Europe.

wow, this is like a “my first android jr” phone. thanks acer, and welcome to 2008
I wonder if this well sell for <100$ uncontracted.
Out-dated Android, small screen, and weak processor. No thanks.
would be cool for a free on contract phone. otherwise it seems like a waste.
If it cheap then it might be good for introducing people to android.
