Motorola has been on the ball lately regarding their 2.1 rollout. Earlier today, we caught wind of a roadmap for 2.1 update plans across multiple Motorola devices and regions. Now, the latest comes to us from the official Motorola Facebok page: the roll-out has begun for Milestone users in both Italy and France.
The same methods for updating over the air apply for most Android phones: head to your phone’s “Settings” menu, scroll down to find the “About Phone” button, and then press System Updates. If nothing gets pulled down, don’t worry: it is being rolled out in stages like most of their updates have been.
Some users have gotten their hands on the updates already, and a couple of people are reporting a couple of issues. Lag seems to be the big one, but it might just be minor and these guys could be nitpicking. Either way, I implore you to approach this OTA with caution until more users have been able to put it through its paces and let you know if it’s safe to come from beneath the bed.
