Rogers has re-branded and released the Telenav GPS app that many of you used to clamor for and is now being called Navigator For Android. You’ll get the same features you’re familiar with in Telenav, but there’s one catch: you’ll be paying $4.99 for it. Unfortunately, this still looks to be the best option for those that can’t use Google Maps With Navigation Beta on their devices.
The app still includes 2D and 3D navigation, real time traffic alerts, business search, trip planning, and more. You can search for and download the app through the Android market now, but I’m not sure if they’ll begin charging your account the monthly fee by just downloading and using it. Be sure to give Rogers a ring for more details if you’re just as unsure.

How about using brut.all mod of google maps. That is what have been using and it works very well…
I sure don’t see Navigator for Android in the marketplace. Rogers isn’t in US – is this for non-US phones?
Sherry: this is for Canadians. Google Nav doesn’t work here (maps do, though, which is where Brut gives SOME functionality back, but not all). Rogers is a Canadian Cell phone provider.
