Handmark – the guys behind some of your favorite apps such as TweetCaster, Express News, and more – has released their app made for the popular British publication London Evening Standard. It’s similar to the set up of their other news applications, and from my initial usage, there doesn’t appear to be any problems.
You’re getting a great publication inside the fast and easy wrapper that Handmark provides for catching up on all of your news. Much like their other apps, you can save articles to view later and share them with your friends. Make your way to the Android Market now to download it (a search of “Evening Standard” should do the trick).

I read the Evening Standard and read about it this app…so I’ve had it from the first day it was released..
It’s a nice little app; especially when the papers run out on the train and you wanna read something (providing you’re not underground obviously)
Looks kinda like the BBC NEWS application.
Hmm, Strange, I can’t seem to find this on 2.2.
Slightly odd UI, but works well enough once you work it out. New articles are a bit short compared to Aunty.
Over all a decent app though.
Wouldn’t wipe my A**e with the Standard, an absolutely cr*p paper for my home city. It only goes north of the river.
