The first time Marvell attempted to show off their own tablet device, it left nothing less than a very sour taste in our mouth. The bugs that riddled the thing were less than desirable, and the response we got when we asked about them were nothing short of amazing (and I’m not saying that in a good way).
Marvell’s ready to strike back for round 2, though, with their latest 10-inch device that made me look more than twice. The device was spotted at the Netbook Summit by Engadget who were able to get a few minutes of hands-on time with the device. It’ll run Android 2.1 and house Marvell’s Moby reference design which uses a processor with performance comparable to what you’d get with a 1Ghz Snapdragon.
Unfortunately, nothing was shown on the software front because it might’ve revealed who this tablet was made for, but we’ll be keeping an eye out for this device to make more appearances in the coming months. Until then, make haste in heading over to Engadget for their full gallery of images.
