AndroidGuys was tipped with a few screenshots of an HTC device for AT&T. The source pictures are grainy, but a closer look at one of the pictures reveals the now-standard set of buttons used to navigate the Android operating system. It looks a lot different from what we saw in the FCC pictures, but prototypical designs can always change before it hits the market (such was the case with the HTC Wildfire that got stolen in the Netherlands).
The device sports a small optical trackpad much like the one we’ve seen on the HTC Droid Incredible, and its thickness shows that it most likely is sporting a slideout QWERTY keyboard. AG’s reporting that it runs Android 2.1 with HC Sense, will have a 5-megapixel camera, and is the smallest Android device that their source has ever seen.
From these pictures, it doesn’t look much smaller than the HTC Tattoo or the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Mini, but they aren’t clear shots to begin with. We’re hoping to hear more regarding this phone sometime next week.
