It looks like the land of crab fisherman and polar bears will be seeing more than enough of the Motorola Milestone and HTC Desire as regional carrier ACS has announced via their Facebook page that they will be getting the devices. They will join GCI who beat them to the punch in announcing the same duo of Android phones for their regional network in Alaska. No word pricing or release date just yet, but the post says an announcement should be coming shortly.

Android in Alaska? You betcha!
it’s weird how all these Regional providers are getting the same devices… Cellular South is getting the same two, and i’m planning on leaving AT&T for the Desire..
Anyone that already has it feel free to chime in and let me know what you think of it…
thanks
the Desire rocks mate – do it, you won’t regret it
WTF IS GOING ON HERE? why are all these non so called small carriers getting the HTC Desire. WHEN I’M STUCK WITH OUT ONE. And AT&T is till too damn thick headed not to get their sorry ass the Desire. It’s pissing me off right now.
