Acer’s finally ready to release the Acer Stream, and they’re doing it through UK retailer Expansys. The device – announced back in late May – is equipped with a 3.7-inch capacitive AMOLED display, will come preloaded with Android 2.1 and Acer’s custom interface, a 1GHz processor, HDMI, 720p video recording capabilities, and more.
The device will be out August 3rd through the retailer for £399.99 and you can head over there to pre-order yours now.

has the number of android phones touched 100 yet?
What exactly are the three bottom buttons for?
That lock screen looks really nice. I hope you “flip” the page to unlock it ;)
seems like dedicated player buttons eh
Bottom buttons are for music player. They are Previous track, Play/Stop track and Next track. They are working nice in different players.
What an Ugly Phone, Phones manufacturers need to stop designing phones in Asia FAIL!
@PhoneDog
You do realize that HTC is Asian, as is Samsung, LG, Sony, and a few smaller makers.
@PhoneDog
One word for your comment: Fail
Maybe Phone dog is wrong about no Asia design, but he’s right about this phone. Its extraordinarily ugly. Those bottom 3 buttons are awful and destroy the look.
WOW, it looks more sexy!!
