By Carphone Warehouse out in the UK has began selling a white version of the Samsung Galaxy S, something I’m sure will make iPhone converts feel a bit more at home. The device will be offered for free on 30 pounds per month tariffs, and there are no surprises to really note. It still has a 1GHz Samsung Hummingbird processor, a 4-inch Super AMOLED display, a 5 megapixel camera, and more. The amount of storage you’d be getting with the device wasn’t mentioned, but we’re sure it won’t be meager. You can grab it from CPW here.
They’re also now stocking the Motorola Defy for those UK residents who are often faced with the task of getting through a rough day without breaking their phones. It has Android 2.1, a 3.7-inch capacitive display, a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and HD video recording capabilities, and it’s also “life proof.” If you don’t know what it means for a phone to be life proof, look no further. This one can be had from CPW on a 25 pounds per month tariff for free, as well.

Different colours. Now on the Market there is so much on offer, 2 colours offeres more customer choice.

Not a big phan of white phones, but I DO find it interesting that Samsung had no problem putting one out when it’s taken Apple FOREVER and theirs still isn’t due out until next year sometime! I’m willing to bet Apple decided to fix the antenna issue before releasing another version of their iphone4. What say you all?
sources say the white iphone’s not being released cos apple can’t get the color of the button to match the rest of the device. but ToastnJam could be right though. apple could be holding back to fix the antenna snafu.
the galaxy has no such problems cos the button’s still black (and their antennas work as advertised lol). looks like the bezel’s also a lighter shade than those on the black version.
damn me want me want.. o’well i can deal with my black vibrant with a white case for now.
