The HTC EVO Shift 4G for Sprint isn’t supposed to go on sale at retail outlets until January 9th, but a new leak is suggesting the phone will be available a few days early at Radio Shack. According to internal literature you should be able head into your local shack and pick up the Shift this Thursday, January 6th. It will sell for $149.99 without the need to deal with rebate hassles. Anyone picking up the EVO Shift 4G this week?

Looks like I may need to stop by a Radioshack on Thursday then. Been sitting on my $150 upgrade for about a year waiting for a phone like this to come along.
I’ve had a Moment for a year; it’s been pretty good but a little flaky (and of course frozen at 2.1). Since I like having a physical keyboard, I was thinking of getting an Epic, but this is probably better (and cheaper). Part of me also thinks I should wait to see what Sprint has planned. Decisions, decisions….
Is this all that Sprint is bring to the table?
