Dell Streak 7 Sign-Up Page Goes Live, Gets Torn Down on Video

5

T-Mobile never set a firm release date for the Dell Streak 7 – “in the coming weeks” is all they could provide – but they’re now taking email addresses of those who want to be notified of any new news and information regarding the device, the most desirable pieces of information obviously being pricing and availability. Go ahead and do that now if you’re looking forward to it and need something to pass the time. (Yea it’ll only take a few seconds, but it’ll be the most exciting few seconds you’ve ever experienced.)

Something even better to do while you wait is watch this teardown video. We’re not sure how they got a unit so early – nor do we know how they could risk its wellbeing without hesitation – but we love it anyway because we don’t have to do stuff like this. Pro tip: turn your volume down. Way down. Thank me later. [via Engadget, TalkAndroid]

  1. With Honeycomb coming I doubt this will shift many units.

  2. Destined for failure. wont even pull 1/2 of the TMO Galaxy Tab sales whatever that has been.

  3. Froyo on a tablet at this stage in the game? Nice try.

  4. Thank you! (For the volume tip that is. That’s some BAD music!

  5. I like the idea of a 7″ tablet (very portable, practical for somebody who wants a large enough screen on the go) BUT Froyo is a major fail. Hopefully somebody (HTC?) comes out with a 7″ Honeycomb tablet.
