Motorola i1 Receiving a Quick Maintenance Upgrade

Sprint’s announced that their rugged Motorola i1 – the first and only PTT Android phone on their iDEN network – will soon be receiving a maintenance upgrade over the air. (As of yesterday, the upgrade was available over the wire by stopping into any Sprint store.) You’ll get tons of bug fixes and a few enhancements, but don’t expect the world here.   1. The idea of a tough android phone is a great thing.

    I currently have a DroidX and a rugged flip phone.

    I work in the construction business. And need a tough phone.

    I would love to be able to have just one phone instead of two.

    But with these specs. I can’t see the reason to move to sprint for it. Maybe better ones will surface in the future.

  2. T-mo has the Defy… Save for moto-blur seems to be the rugged phone that fits the bill
