One of Samsung’s latest TouchWiz QWERTY-enabled Android 2.2 phones – the i5510 we heard about a few months ago – is now being carried by Vodafone in the UK for £20.42 per month. The tariff affords you 100 minutes and 250MB of data allowance. (Translation: it’s for the newbs.) The display only clocks in at 3.2 inches and has a 3 megapixel camera, and there’s really not much more to say about it – it’s another Samsung phone. Vodafone for the details. [via EuroDroid]

Were officialy 3rd world country now. No LTE, no WIMAX and no “powered” qwerty handset for UK.

Had Milestone2 and DesireZ. Have played with my mates Sammy Epic for a day and i would give em both for that “power” machine. Even small eastern EU countrys got 4G now, were stuck with poor 3G.

Please stop posting free phones in the UK as news, we all assume it. Maybe if it wasn’t free, it’d be news. And LTE is coming soon. My father who works in telecoms is currently testing LTE running at 59MB/s in Wales. 4G will be auctioned off at the end of the year and will start to appear with the end of the digital switch over
