You may or may not be familiar with Minecraft. It is a sandbox-style game that looks like it should exist on some early 90s DOS system rather than your modern-era PCs that is still only in its beta stages yet developing a huge cult following. The point of the game is basically to create objects and environments that can be as simple as a build or as complex as a functional computer.
While a final release hasn’t even been reached on the PC platform, Minecraft is already busy developing a mobile version of the game. They considered sending it out of house for porting, but ultimately decided to do it themselves. This port will be available for both Android and iOS later this year. When the game will shed its beta tag, however, is unknown.
