The LG Optimus 2X at Carphone Warehouse has gone from “Coming Soon” to now having a full-blown price in the UK: £454.95. Expansys has also changed their release date from March 30th to March 21st and will be offering it themselves for £449.95. (They will be offering it for free through several UK carriers if you prefer that, though.) We know the wait has been rather long, but you’ll know for sure in a few more days whether you’re set to be a proud new Optimus 2X owner or not. [via Android Forums]

they really worked on tiny little details.

“on screen phone” to control the phone from a PC through bluetooth or usb
“gestures” to control media and cursor in text-entry boxes by tapping the sides of the phone
optional music widget in the notification-bar pulldown menu
power control widget in the notification-bar pulldown menu(wifi, gps, ringer mode, bt, etc)
all things easily missed in specs, but certainly worth mentioning.

this phone is much more rounded than an iphone 4, and it has no separate border.
try looking for some shots from other viewpoints and you’ll see how it’s not all that similar.
Price drops is a very good news. It is price $800 in US. So UK deal is looking great.
In Sweden we have had this phone for a week now :D
in india it is launched at 30,000inr i.e 680usd which is unlocked!
