By We just got an email from Huawei informing us that their MediaPad launch event is going down on June 20th at CommunicAsia in Singapore. We still don’t know a whole lot about this thing, but they have given us a sneak peak at the device above. Unfortunately, they don’t show anything on the software side of things so it looks like we’ll have to wait a week and a half before we know exactly what this device is all about.

Let’s see whether Huawei is able to take the lead in Android tablet development. If MediaPad is priced correctly, it can be one of the the most popular 7″ tablets.
