Folks on the other end telling you you sound as if you’re talking through a can and string? We’ve heard of several complaints at AndroidForums.com in this thread, as well as this one. Fortunately, we’ve got the remedy right here. You can head into your phone’s edit mode and change the vocoder to enjoy the same crisp quality that you did on the original EVO 4G. It’s quite simple and requires nothing but your MSL and the ability to follow directions. You can grab your MSL from Sprint by explaining to them why you need it – they usually don’t create much fuss over giving it up. Find instructions and more discussion at AndroidForums.com.
I thought the audio quality was actually clearer than my old Evo 4G (at least when talking to another Evo 3D user).
But I guess if I could make it even BETTER… shoot, why not? =)
doesn’t affect all Evo 3D units. (…and I guess I should count myself lucky too! lol!
Chris, how is battery life on your unit? I’m getting exceptional battery life. I was able to get 15 hours before I hit 30%, and I reckon I could make it to 24 hours with my normal usage pattern.
Probably still not quite as good as your old epic tho eh Chris lol
what about the sensation? can we do the same, because i think the sensation is even worst.
