While AT&T kicks off their 4G LTE offerings this week with a pair of network adaptors, the ETA on handsets compatible with the next-gen network isn’t so clear. While the timeframe remains left to speculation, BGR has obtained images of a new Samsung smartphone that gives us an idea at least of what AT&T’s first LTE handset might look like. Rumored as the Samsung Impulse 4G, the phone definitely takes a few design cues from Verizon’s Droid Charge, another LTE device from the manufacturer. Whether the phone is more or less the same in the specs department or if it will feature key upgrades borrowing from the upcoming Galaxy S II line isn’t clear, as little more information is available aside from a render of the device and a look at a case design. The sleek design does, at first glance, seem a bit more appealing than the Charge. With more information bound to emerge in the coming weeks, the Impulse 4G looks to be one to keep an eye on.

Soo….. ATT gets a Charge?
Edit* guess the article says just as much.
Too. Much. Bezel.
The front shot is definitely of Huawei Ideos X5
Phandroid fail. Stop running with bgr’s crap. That is the Huawei x5, not a Samsung phone.
