Just a day after HTC’s Vigor – rumored to be a beast of a phone with a 1.5GHz dual-core processor – hit the Bluetooth SIG, the phone has now gotten WiFi certification. All we need now is an FCC approval and we’re good to go for a probable holiday release. Other specs include a 4.3 inch 720p display, 1GB of RAM and HTC will probably be putting newly-acquired Beats’ technology inside for those who like a nice listening experience. This one’s supposed to be on Verizon whenever it does eventually get officially announced. [PDF via AndroidForums.com]
Sounds like a great phone, but then again there’s so many Fantastic phones this year so hard to choose one.
This is the phone that I am waiting for… Fingers Crossed
Plus one for your SN – D
Interesting to see battery life here. I want to see Samsung Charge or Nexus S type longevity.
Bring back the Vigo pic for anything vigor haha
Would it be a variance of this phone for GSM network ? Thanks
Nexus Prime also got wifi certification today:

verizon knows what they are doing. just after announcing they are not getting the galaxy s 2, we see two leaks for pontentially HOTTER phones…not droid…PRRRIIMMMEE!! lol
Holiday season is going to be awesome!
Honestly, I am surprised by how fast Verizon is rolling out the LTE network, they ALREADY have more than 50% of US covered. With that being said, these super verizon phones (Vigor & Prime, and I guess iPhone 5) better have LTE. Bionic or SGSII ain’t gonna get my money (they have been or should’ve been out for 6+months).
I have read that the new iphone will not be equipped with LTE, HSPA+, or WiMax. Same phone with upgraded specs. Personally its all crap. Its a gimmick.
How is it they have 50% covered with LTE? When I look at the coverage map it doesnt look near 50%
It makes sense for this to be release in October as the VZW premium phone…and then of course November for the Prime as the next premium phone.
Is it confirmed to have LTE? I don’t see anything other than saying it’s going to replace Tbolt. But that’s not so convincing enough.
What’s the point of the macbook pro 13 that I bought recently when such phones and tablets are released with specs that are getting closer to it. :S
