Should we be worried about the presence of the recognizable Android capacitive buttons seen in these first images of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7? Blurry-cam aside, what otherwise appears as a smaller version of the recent Galaxy Tab 10.1, the one small detail could mean a world of difference in terms of which OS the device ships with. As is standard, devices meant to to run the tablet-ony Android Honeycomb forego touch controls in favor of on-screen navigation buttons. Could the Galaxy Tab 7.7 be destined to run Android Gingerbread at best? We should know in only a week’s time as Samsung is set to unveil their new gadget at the IFA show in Berlin next week.
