Here’s yet another offer from T-Mobile for their MyTouch 4G. Like they’ve done at least twice in the past (I’ve lost count), they are giving users a chance to get it for free after signing a new two-year agreement. The T-Mobile MyTouch 4G eventually lost its luster when it comes to sheer power, but the big secret is that this is still a pretty good phone.
It’s got a snappy 1GHz processor, 768MB of RAM and a fork of HTC Sense (called Espresso) that really takes advantage of that SoC. Could be the perfect gift for someone who needs to come out of the dark ages of feature phones. Head over to T-Mobile’s site to take advantage if you want, but do it quickly – it’s supposed to revert to normal pricing tomorrow. [T-Mobile, thanks Big Fella!]
They are very sturdy. It took awhile for me to crack that POS in half.
This made me laugh thanks. But seriously the MT4G was/is a bad little beast. I miss it sometimes :/
Do me a favor and call 1-800-T-MOBILE so maybe I can sell you one. If you get a guy named John in the phone, mention Phandroid and I’ll say what’s up? Lol
prolly the best phone i have ever owned and im on my 12 th android device
smooth runing
well made
durable and feature packed
and now its free!
still one of the best devices out and its almost a yr old
wayy better than my sensation
Ive had the phone for about a year….love it. AT&T leave us alone!
Who signs a two year contract for an 11-month old phone?
Cheap people.
This was one of the most underrated phones of the past year. I believe it was the first android phone with 756mb of RAM. It has the same processor as the Thunderbolt over 6 months before the thunderbolt came out, it’s battery life is insane, and it has a sturdy, well-built feel.
Even though I have the new phone itch, I have yet to find any app/game my MT4G couldn’t handle.
I’ll add to the testimonials on the MT4G. It’s a hell of a phone. I have a Sensation as well and it’s only claim to being better is the larger qHD screen. Otherwise, they are both about the same in performance. The Mt4G also gets great battery life. And if you root that sucker, it overclocks at a stable 1.5Ghz to 1.8Ghz.
Another testimonial? Id buy myt4g again in 6 months. The thing tears up quadrant when stock, and when rooted is insane.
Easily most underrated Android. It’s too bad cuz HTC did so good on this.
