SanDisk has released a new memory management app onto the Android Market today called Memory Zone. The app acts as sort of super file manager app giving you the ability to manage all of the saved content on your phone’s SD card (or internal memory) by moving it around, deleting or uploading/downloading it from one of your existing cloud services like Dropbox or Picasa. The cool part? You can even schedule regular backups to make sure all of the content on your phone is safely secured in the cloud. SanDisk Memory Zone also adds to functionality of password protecting any file or folder on your phone’s SD card if you wanted to hide something like, your extensive collection of… flower photos.
Where the app really shines is the fact it combines the functionality of more than a few apps currently on the Market, all into one. Now you only have to make one stop to manage, protect and backup all your most important files. You can download SanDisk Memory Zone for free right now in the Android Market.
Tiiiiight
In a typical Sandisk fashion it is very nice but rather slow as well, at least on my HTC Desire.
UI seems to be chugging on my Evo 3D as well. Lets hope future updates will fix this..

Fat chance. Only place I’m backing my sdcard to is my hard drive
good luck, let us know when your hard drive crashed.
The likelihood of both his HD and his SD card failing simultaneously is pretty damn slim.
email the pic to your email account…. i lol’d
Can’t install it from Android Market in Serbia.
“This item cannot be installed in your device’s country.”
Bah…
US only? Fail! ahihihi
Works in Germany.. :)
Where it really shines is that ridiculously adorable logo!
They are only doing this because their SD cards tend to fail, I had one fail and lost a lot of data. They offered a recovery service for only $250, no way! I had a backup but it was kind of old, I need to be more diligent in backing up my data so its my fault however I will not be backing up to the cloud. My external drive and good old dvd’s will work for me.
Their cards dont “tend” to fail. Yours did, and that sucks, but in general, they make great cards.
Mine randomly looses its partition table.
All my Sandisk cards doesnt “tend” to fail.
– MicroSD 8gb.
– Cruzer Blade 8gb. (FYI. Best design ever! No caps that gets lost, and plastic like port.)
post a direct download link here please, as I cant download it from marked as I live in Norway :)
Why is Sugar Sync not able to be added to the cloud servers? I already subscribe here and would have to upgrade my dropbox to make this work….then have 2 different cloud services. I already use Sugar Sync for backing up my pc….? Any news?
Thanks
