Feeling a bit girlish? Are you a girl? Great! The HTC Rhyme is for you, apparently. (We don’t get into that sexism stuff, but that’s the demographic HTC and Verizon want to target with this phone.) If $200 was way too much for you, Amazon’s got a proposal – how about taking it home for $80? Not a bad price for the device, either. Sure, it’s no Thunderbolt or a dual-core device but word is that it’s solid and can appeal to many people. We’ll have our review up sometime soon but for now check the deal out here.
I wish it had better specs. As much as everyone makes fun of it being a phone for women, my wife was genuinely interested. But I won’t let her buy a phone with those specs.
You should! I have the Desire HD that has similar specs and it runs really smooth with Sense 3.5 (with custom ROM; it’s officially on 2.5, 2 generations ago). Sense 3.5 is REALLY good, and I don’t think your wife will need a dual core processor or 1080p video recording…
The thing is, it won’t last 2 years with those specs. They are fine for right now, but in a year from now it’ll show its age.
Whats going on with that custom interface?
Its not an interface. Its still sense. What you see there is a fullscreen sized widget.
I’ve become so exasperated with black I would sell my man card for this phone.
my best friend’s mom makes $78 an hour on the computer. She has been out of job for 9 months but last month her check was $7587 just working on the computer for a few hours. Read about it here HardRich.com
