Gone are the days of shoehorning Netflix onto rooted Android Honeycomb tablets. The official app has been updated to include support for all Android 3.0+ devices. Unfortunately, the look of the app hasn’t quite been customized for the tablet experience, namely the overall video quality. Hopefully Netflix will put some work in to get things looking fresh for the larger screen.

I have that app since 2 months ago…
I’ve had it on my Transformer (non-rooted) for some time now
Yeah this has been out….um…what am I missing?
This is called promotion. I guess they are planning another price increase soon.
I’ve had it on my Galaxy Tab for a couple of months, but it wasn’t available in the market. I had to get it somewhere else.
Very odd. It’s been in the market for the wi-fi only galaxy tab 10.1 for some time now.
Netlfix? You mean Netflix?
Netflix? You mean Netfail.
comment fail
I bought a xoom family edition for netflix on monday and it didn’t work. Took it back tuesday and now they fix it. :(
have had this for months…whats the big deal?
Dear editors: you might find it interesting that the update also includes support for captions/subtitles
FINALLY. Now… my THRiVE is complete.
too bad this update broke some installs. My Evo running Cyanogen7 wont show video anymore. The market comments lead me to believe that it has happened to anyone who is running gingerbread.
Netflix worked on the iphone 3g years ago, July 2008, and finally we get Netflix on our pricy tablets? How long as android been around, Google needs to fix this fragmentation bs asap.
on this update: Captions/Subtitles (for the deaf and multi-language) & Secondary Audio (foreign languages)
