By Our friends at Toshiba are helping us kick off the holiday season by hooking us up with two of their Android-optimized Wireless keyboards for giveaway. We’ll be giving away one today, one tomorrow, and then you WON’T BELIEVE what we’re announcing on Thursday so MAKE SURE you check in on Thanksgiving (November 24th).
Toshiba’s keyboard is a godsend for Android Tablet productivity and efficiency. Tablets are great and all, but sometimes you just need a keyboard. You can type MUCH quicker, more clearly see content on the screen when you type, and just have better all-around control and quickness. Toshiba’s tablet provides this option by easily connecting via Bluetooth to your Android 3.0+ device, but it’s so slim and portable that you can easily take it with you wherever you bring your tablet.
The keyboard has dedicated Android buttons for Back, Home, Menu, and Search along with web optimized buttons for activities such as pulling up contacts, opening your inbox, and accessing your calendar. A nice touch is that the tablet also works for Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7, although the dedicated keys might not properly map since they’re custom designed for Android.
This keyboard would make a great for anyone with an Android Tablet or as a companion gift to go along with an Android Tablet. Make sure you give the Toshiba Thrive a look. It rocks Honeycomb 3.1 and has an awesome amount of connectivity support including a full USB port and full HDMI port.
