Skype For Android Updated With New Features, Improved UI and More
Chris Chavez
Skype for Android is seeing a sizable update in the Market with new features, UI and improved performance. With the latest update, you can send pictures, video and files using nothing but the app. I can’t even tell you how long I’ve been waiting for the Skype team to add this functionality into the app and I am currently downloading as I type.
Also new to this version is a new look thanks to improved graphical elements — we, in “the biz,” call this a UI (user interface) — as well as better performance on Tegra 2 devices as well as voicemail enhancements. On a little bit of a side note, Skype is also giving away free WiFi at airports across the US for the holidays. For a full list of participating airports, hit up the article on BGR here.
