You may remember the the last time we saw the Samsung SPH-L300 for Sprint, it popped up in a User Agent Profile and later, we even got a glimpse of it in a leaked pic. Looking like a cross between your typical Samsung device, and a Nexus One, the device has also just made a stop by the FCC today, reminding us of its impending release.
In case you needed a refresher, the SPH-L300 featured a few mid-ranged specs — 800×480 resolution display, 5MP shooter, 1GB of RAM — while still finding itself powered by a zippy dual-core Qualcomm S4 processor. Not too shabby, right? Expect entry level pricing when this launches on Sprint sometime in the coming months.
I like how the S4 is slowly making it’s way into the low end while still being a high end processor.
Hoping this quickly becomes the norm for “entry-level” specs :)

I can tell you that this phone has NFC. Not too shabby for a low-end.
A phone for your wife
pretty nice for an entry level phone. Only downside is the screen resolution… but many probably don’t care about that. The S4 processor in this thing is wicked. Will it support Sprint’s upcoming LTE network?

the nexus is like the best looking device in my perspective , I mean its straight black looks slick + I would rather have software keys

They should have just added that track ball. Then it would have been my 1st Android device all over again. Bought it rooted, so it wasn’t my 1st rooted, but it was the 1st one I changed ROMs on. I can still remember how I used to wonder if Tmo knew I had a rooted phone, and tethering for free without some plan needed.
Did anybody notice the reflection on the screen? Why is the battery cover off on the Epic Touch that’s taking the pic??

Is it really the Snapdragon S4? For a mid-range phone, I would have expected to settle for an S3.
