Sony might be all about Xperia lately, but another brand seeing new life thanks to Android is the toipic of their latest announcement. Sony has a new round of Walkman devices launching in August, a lineup that includes the first in the series to run Android 4.0. The Walkman F800 sports a dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor and 3.5-inch display along with an S-Master Digital Amplifier for improved audio quality. Also announced was the Walkman E470, which ranks as the thinnest Walkman yet at 7.0mm.
Pricing for the Walkman F800 starts at $269.99 for a 16GB model and goes up to $299.99 for 32GB. As for the Walkman E470, a 4GB options will retail for $79.99, while 8GB will be priced at $89.99 and 16GB at $109.99.

Or buy a cheap prepaid Android device and never activate it, just use the wifi.

Wow….people still use mp3 devices?
MP3 players? No. PMPs? Yes. With the S-Master Digital Amplifier it just begs for FLAC, dunno what idiot would buy it for listening MP3s ripped at 128kbps from YouTube. Once you discover what quality is, you will never play music on your phone again. Devices like this are needed.
