In our Galaxy S3 forums, we have every version of the device covered, with users talking about everything from battery life concerns, reception problems, even the latest Sprint Galaxy S3 commercial that had ’em rolling. Samsung Galaxy Note 2

When the two-handed Galaxy Note 2 launched across the globe, it challenged many our perceptions on the size a smartphone could reach before it was considered a tablet. For many, the 5.5-inch display on the Galaxy Note 2 was just what they were looking for. In our Note 2 forums you can find helpful tips and FAQ’s and with all the features jam packed into the device thanks to TouchWiz, you’re gonna need all the help you can get.

HTC Droid DNA

Easily the most luxurious, most premium, highest-end devices on the market, the HTC Droid DNA represents the creme de la creme of smartphones. With a blistering fast quad-core Qualcomm S4 processor and beautiful 5-inch 1080p full HD display — it just doesn’t get any better than this, folks. The fact that the phone is available on the largest network in the US means (hopefully), some of you were lucky enough to receive this (either for yourself, or a loved one) for Christmas. If you did, you can find a forum chalk full of new users like yourself, talking about their impressions of the device, comparisons with other devices, and even a few tips.

HTC One X+

Still one of the sexiest devices Android has to offer, the souped up One X+ ended up in a few new pockets this holiday and with good reason. The device features one of the best smartphone cameras on the market that’s to HTC’s ImageSense software. Add to that a super charged 1.7GHz Tegra 3 processor and PlayStation certification, and you have the makings of a device perfect for on-the-go gaming. For those of you that received the previous gen HTC One X on AT&T, that device is plenty of great

HTC EVO 4G LTE

Essentially a tricked out version of the HTC One X, the HTC EVO 4G LTE is Sprint’s version with a few added extras. First off, users have the benefit of using an SD card, giving the device a boost in storage and the added kickstand makes viewing media a breeze. If you’re new to the EVO 4G LTE, you first stop should be the Most Helpful Threads post where forums members are linking their most helpful tips and tricks for newbies.

LG Optimus G

One of the most underrated devices currently on Android, the LG Optimus G combines top of the line specs, with an unobtrusive UI, and a sleek modern design. The device released on AT&T and Sprint to solid reviews and with one of the few devices on the market with a quad-core Qualcomm S4 processor, it’s almost unmatched in terms of speed. LG also did some magic with their custom UI, enabling unique features not found on most other ‘Droids. Hit up the forums and talk with other Optimus G users and tell ’em Chris sent’cha.

Nexus 4

The Nexus 4 easily offers the best hardware you can buy, at the best value. Having been sold out on the Google Play Store, not everyone who’s been clamoring to get one has one in their hands just yet. I've been obsessed with consumer technology for about as long as I can remember, be it video games, photography, or mobile devices. If you can plug it in, I have to own it. Preparing for the day when Android finally becomes self-aware and I get to welcome our new robot overlords.

    1. doesn’t have to be. A poll can encompass any and everything the editor decides. That’s why Chris is Chris and you are you. m/

  9. Padfone 2 64GB – well I did not exactly get it, as I paid most of it myself. But my gifts were cash to help pay for it ;)

    1. Woah :O

I’ve been drooling over that thing for awhile now. How are you liking it????

      1. Amazing just amazing. The phone part is the best smartphone I have ever seen. The tablet is good, but once you get used to this amazing display on the phone, the tablet resolution sticks out. The speakers on both phone and tablet are fantastic, but there is only one speaker on the tablet and in landscape mode it is on the left side. It is a bit strange to have the sound coming from just one side.

Battery life is amazing on the phone alone, but if I use it in the tablet for at least a couple of minutes a day it gets reloaded really fast and the battery time is godlike.

This thing is the perfect gadget for me.

        EDIT
Forgot to write that if you put the tablet on a table and touch the screen on one of its sides, the device slightly tilts because of the bulge for the phone. ;/ Two mini-kickstands to flip out would have made the trick to prevent this. But it is not THAT bad. I still like it even as a tablet.

But If you are the Guy who wants a Perfect Tablet and do not care about the Phone so much – this device is not made for you.

        If I had to rate:
        Phone 12/10
        Tablet 8/10

Tablet (-1 for screen resolution 1240x800px, -0,5 for only one speaker, -0,5 for tilting on tables, other than that 10/10 for best Hardware specs in a tablet (S4 Pro beats anything but a Nexus 10)

Phone (-1 for no SD card slot, other than that 13/10 for pure awesomeness)

        1. So… jealous… and I have a Nexus 4.

          1. I would have gotten the Nexus 4 if they sold it either with SD card slot or with at least 32GB of storage. It is a very nice device!

          2. I woulda got it if it did CDMA/LTE like every other phone on the market can.

        2. What carrier do you have?

          1. It would most likely only work with AT&T 3G or luckily some places for T-Mobile 3G.

          2. These are the frequencies, which the International version can communicate in:
            3G :
            WCDMA :900/2100
            2G :
            EDGE/GPRS/GSM : 850/900/1800/1900,
            4G:
            LTE: 800/1800/2600

          3. No carrier. I have a postpaid contract in germany in the vodafone network. No fixed costs, 9 cents per minute talk time, 9 cents per text message. +9€ for HSPA+ flatrate (with 2G speed after 500MB which I never used up). I end up paying around 12-20€ per month. I can end the contract within one month, should I ever wish to.

    2. Lucky, I wanted one so bad for Christmas. Guess I’ll just have to buy it.

      1. You won’t regret it.

  10. I’m still owed a present or two… Might see if I can get my hands on a SSD for my PC, a Kindle or maybe even a Nexus 7!!!

  11. Asus Transformer Infinity Pad. Love this thing!

  12. Got an Xperia P for my girlfriend, wanted a Nexus 4 for myself, but couldn’t buy one… *sigh*

  13. Still waiting for my N4 to ship. It was supposed to be a Christmas gift though.

  14. No option for – did not receive Android device ?

    1. Waiting for a Nexus 4 also? hahaha

      1. waiting for Nexus 5

        1. You must own a Gnex! Me too on Nexus 5!

  15. I just got a nexus 7, but I have too many toys (gnex, galaxy s3, LG optimus G, etc) Android4life

  16. Gave the kids a nexus 7 and nabi2… 8/5 y.o… they will eventually stop calling it an iPad

  17. I got a Galaxy S3 and a Nexus7

  18. My Nexus 4 is still coming, but we can pretend I got it.

  19. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 with q-core EXYNOS. Had to go 10″, because as of now, and for probably another 6 months that’s the only acceptable screen with S-Pen functionality. But on the side note – it’s extremely smooth, no lags at all, even on ICS.

  20. Nexus 10, I only skimmed the comments but did anyone else get an N10?

  21. Nexus 10! Can’t believe how smooth it is. I also have a Galaxy Nexus and a Nexus 7 which I plan on giving to family.

  22. Nexus 4 and lovin it!

  23. Where’s the poll?

  24. Acer a110 and luving it

  25. I got a GooPhone V5+……it’s still Android! lol

  26. Is there a none answer?

    1. yes.. you just replied below.

  27. My mom gave me a Vizio Co-Star! So far I love it.

  28. I got myself a GSM galaxy nexus with a $200 gift card I won from work. My wife tossed in the extra $25 to buy it from a nice man on craigslist! I am loving this coming from a rooted G2x. The Nexus life is the only life for a Phandroid like me!

  29. Wait. When was the iPhone an Android?

    1. apple says that the icrap looks like all android phone, there for the icrap is an android, hahaha.

      1. Makes sense now. LOL

  30. When was the iPhone an Android?

  31. Got a note 10.1!

  32. I got a Motorola Droid Razr MAXX HD. It’s a dream come true. I got the Jelly Bean update right away and the battery is amazing compared to my Droid 2. My Droid 2 with extended battery was usually dead after 10-11 hours of my typical use. Same time frame with my new phone…battery at 74%. Yippie :D

  33. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1

not much time to play – waiting for the weekend!

  34. Got the hTC One X this year, but not for the X’mas holiday. Drooling onto the Droid DNA though… hope there will be an US working global edition with SD card slot expansion!

  35. 32GB Nexus 10. It was the final piece in my “all Nexus” puzzle.

  36. Nexus 10. How is that not on the list?

  37. I got myself a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 while it was on sale at Amazon for $179. I also used a $30 service credit (from pre-ordering Windows 8) and close to $55 in rewards points. It cost me less than $94.

My ex-wife got our two kids their own 32 GB Nexus 7 tablets.

    1. I got one too I am loving controlling my tv with it

  38. Got a galaxy 7.0

  39. Got the Nexus 7 32 Gb version. I love it!

  40. How about unwrapping shiny new applications like ArkMC https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.arkudadigital.arkmc.gm from Play Google!
I enrich the phone with DLNA functionality.

  41. I am jealous of my gf’s GS3, the all share app works awesome pushing content from phone to my tv wirelessly. Makes my Galaxy Nexus drool. 50 bucks on Verizon, are you kidding me? I payed almost 300 for my galaxy nexus, though I do love it. Nexus 4 is a fail boat.

  42. I bought myself a Nexus 4 at the end of November. Does that count? :-)

  43. Chock full, not “chalk full.” Can no one get homonyms right any more? Just because the word is spelled right, does not mean it’s the right word.

  44. RAZR M, actually 5 new total for my family. They are a great 4.3inch device.

    1. Same here, 4.3″ is the perfect size and near-stock android UI. For $50 it’s a steal.

  45. I voted Nexus 4, but I paid for it myself and it came about a week before Christmas, but it was a present to myself so I suppose it counts

  46. Samsung Galaxy Reverb!

  47. Wife and I got Nexus 4s. Finally got my November 13th order the day after Christmas. So didn’t get to unwrap it but it still came in the same week so we’re pleased.

  48. As the pathetic Nexus 4 doesn’t support CDMA/LTE I can’t get it on Verizon, therefore I’ll be picking up the RAZR M ($50). It seems like a no-brainer with it’s great specs, near stock Android UI, and compact, non-phablet package. Sure I wish it had a bit better camera or a little thinner, but I’ll be getting it.
