We’d call this more of an eyes on than hands-on, but take a look at the all new Acer Iconia B1 Android Tablet that was just announced and now shipping to retailers in European and Latin American markets. So of course, consumers will be able to purchase the Iconia B1 in the very immediate future.
Some quick specs:
At only $119 Euros (about $160 US Dollars), Acer is helping prove that a tablet can be created with a nice experience without a hefty pricetag. There are a lot of potential first time tablet owners who are price sensitive and the Iconia B1 can help them get their foot in the technology door. Will they have the sickest graphics, the best storage, and the smoothest experience in the world? Obviously not. But they’ll have a very capable device that allows them to be entertained, be productive, and have an enjoyable experience.
The Acer Iconia B1 won’t come to American markets so only European and Latin American readers should stay on the lookout. At $160 bucks or so, how do you feel it compares to offerings like the Kindle Fire, Nexus 7, and other products in terms of value and bang for your buck?
