UAProf for Samsung SGH-i337 reveals 1080p display, could be Galaxy S4 variant

Here’s a little tease to get us going on a Monday morning. A user agent profile has surfaced for a Samsung device with model number SGH-i337, an unknown phone that is shown as sporting a 1080p display. Samsung doesn’t currently offer any smartphones running at full HD resolution, but there is one device on the horizon rumored to be the first.

Yes, that would be the Samsung Galaxy S4, and this UAProf could account for a variant of the device or at least a specific carrier version. The naming convention as well other details in the profile suggest this could be AT&T’s version of the phone (or at least a phone headed to AT&T with touches of the flagship device’s specs). Coincidental or not, the model number i337 resembling the 1337 of h4x0r speak is enough to get us wondering if this truly is Samsung’s next elite device.

It is believed that the Samsung Galaxy S4 will launch more broadly as the GT-i9500. Other than a 4.99-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, the handset is rumored to run Samsung’s Exynos 5 Octa chipset. The latest buzz says the phone will be announced in March for an April release.
