It’s been a long time coming, but if you’re currently residing in New Zealand, Australia, Austria, Ireland, Belgium, Luxembourg, or Portugal — you now finally have access to Google Play Music. Google announced the good news via Twitter and brings the official tally of countries up to 13 ’round the world. Here’s the current running list:
- Australia
- Austria
- Belgium
- France
- Germany
- Ireland
- Italy
- Luxembourg
- New Zealand
- Portugal
- Spain
- United States
- United Kingdom
If you’re in one of the new countries, get to downloading the official Google Play Music Manager application for Mac/Windows/Linux and start uploading your library of music (up to 20,000 songs) free of charge. After that, take all your music with you on-the-go with the official Google Play Music app for Android. Now you can rock out, with your socks out (or something like that).

Belgium, Luxembourgh, yet no Netherlands? So close yet so far!
Don’t really care though. Google Music isn’t what I am waiting for, now books/movies and Voice….that is something (Add in some fiber and self driving cars and I’m happy :D)
They almost got the alphabetical order correct.
Sure, release it after I spend 4 months in the country…
FIRST DAY AFTER EXAMS & THIS HAPPENS!!!!!
Yes this is awesome the best timing and thanks phandroid for making my day
Still nothing for Canada…what should I use instead? iTunes?
You can use ZUNE man. Google Music sucks cock.
Lol Microsoft killed off Zune awhile back… Jeff’s screwed.
I was joking…I’ll never use iTunes…I don’t have / use any Apple products (except for maybe QuickTime on my PC)…the current state of digital music is dire in Canada with iTunes pretty much being the ONLY worthy provider of (non-streaming) digital music downloads. Other than that…they aren’t doing much to discourage music pirating via BitTorrent or MP3 downloader apps on the Play Store…rather the lack of music services only encourages this…sigh…
come on waiting for Poland :P
f””k, every country around me has it. Bring it to the Netherland!!!!!!!
