The Verizon Motorola DROID Ultra, which was just announced this morning, is one really nice phone. It’s a 5-inch beast that houses Motorola’s 8X processing platform, which features a dual-core application processor, quad-core graphics, a contextual core and a natural language processing core. The device also has 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, Android 4.2 and more.
Motorola has made some pretty interesting advancements in the software department, with quick photo captures, hands-free use, wireless photo sharing and more adding to the overall experience. We’ve gone hands-on with the thing so be sure to take a good look at the video above to see just what it is you’d be getting into.
This sounds like a good comeback for a company that is struggling. I’ve seen their stock report. I want to know more about this phone before investing in it, though.
i doubt that the droid line will really affect their bottom line. Way more is expected out of the Moto X
that glossy kevlar ruins the feel and awesomeness of kevlar…
This looks promising… Base on the measurements provided on the website, this phone is 1/4 inch wider and 1/10 inch taller than the original DROID RAZR. Pretty good considering it is a 5inch display where the DROID RAZRwould now be considered a “mini” at 4.3 inches
So Kevin gets to have his cake and eat it too huh? I don’t think so. These toys are ONLY for phandroid not eye-sore-se
The leaks made it look awful but the video makes it look okay. Gloss shouldnt be. Makes it look cheap
I think Google made the right move in splitting up the processing cores. It’s going to make it a lot smoother.
Just glad the X phone won’t be on verizon. but still very mad that their the only ones getting the HUGE BATTERY LIFE compare the X PHONE
i was gonna piss n’ moan about the lack of an SD card slot, but then I remembered that after my last SD card corrupted twice i just ditched it and never replaced it(sad as it may sound I just could never really find the money for a new one). So I guess it really isn’t a big deal for me…still, woulda been nice
only if he could stop talking and show us the UI
