AT&T has announced that it hass added 10 more markets to its list of those receiving 4G LTE coverage. Those in Rome, Georgia; Cedartown, Georgia; Charleston, West Virginia; Ponca City, Oklahoma; Russellville, Arkansas; Arkadelphia, Arkansas; Ardmore, Oklahoma; Enid, Oklahoma; Durant, Oklahoma; and Marthas Vineyard, Massachusetts will all be getting a taste of 4G on their capable smartphones, tablets and hotspot devices. With AT&T boasting not only the nation’s fastest 4G LTE network, but also the most reliable network, you can go ahead and give those claims a test for yourself. Boot up your smartphone and have some fun!
Guess it’s time to give att a honest look. From what I hear the network is not nearly as bad as it was when they held the iPhone exclusivity.
It’s really not, I actually left AT&T during the iPhone exclusivity period I had an iPhone 3GS at the time. I begrudgingly started using AT&T again when my job gave me a free AT&T smartphone, their customer service still isn’t much better from what I’ve heard, but the network is faster than Verizon where I live and very reliable these days.
At&t actually has more LTE active than they advertise. I have it and live in what most people would call “the sticks” and its great.

An example is between Georgetown and Charleston, SC along US17.
That entire area is active with LTE yet it’s not on their map and Georgetown is not on their list yet.. but it’s there.
I suspect it’s in testing but it has been active at least the last 2 months.
Damn I wish they would get to Myrtle Beach.
Well, I frequent Myrtle Beach from Columbia .. in-laws and stuff….
The last time we were out there was a month ago and there was some spots on 22 that had LTE… so I think it’s coming and soon.

Support still sucks but switching to ATT when the One came out was the best thing I could have ever done. I get 50/14 almost everywhere and rarely don’t have a signal. Way better coverage than TMO, Verizon and Sprint in my area.
