It’s a bit odd for a carrier to be announcing plans to carry the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini when the S4 Mini is already out, but that’s exactly what AT&T did in today’s announcement. Ma Bell is letting this little guy go for just 99 cents, a fitting price considering how old it is. For that, you’re getting a 4.3 inch smartphone that was a couple of classes below the Samsung Galaxy S3 for its time.

Its specs include a 4 inch WVGA display, 1GB of RAM, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 16GB of internal storage, a 5 megapixel rear camera, a microSD card slot, a 1,500mAh battery, Android 4.2, NFC, 4G LTE and more. The device launches September 27th, but you can lay down a preorder for one starting tomorrow. We’re not sure how well it’ll sell at this point, but AT&T can at least rope in those who aren’t willing to pay much money to own a smartphone.
