Samsung’s been working on a new cheap-o smartphone for those who aren’t interested in breaking the bank for mobile bliss. It’s the Samsung Galaxy Core Advance, a 4.7-inch smartphone with WVGA resolution, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and more. It’s not hard to predict that the rest of the spec sheet doesn’t read off as exciting. Here it is in case you’re wondering:
Samsung didn’t let us in on release details aside from the fact that it will be available early next year in Deep Blue and Pearl White. It’d be disheartening for someone to grab this phone if they were expecting to be able to use it with their Samsung Galaxy Gear smart watch, but we’ll be pinging Samsung to see if they’ll be interested in offering the Android 4.3 upgrade that brings Galaxy Gear functionality at some point down the line.
