Gameloft may have hit a few snags along the way (as in a contest winner leaking a cracked version of the game ahead of its launch), but more honest Android gamers looking for the official version of Modern Combat 5: Blackout can now download it straight from the Google Play Store.
Priced at $7 upfront, you wont find a single in-app purchase needed to finish the game to completion, or even engage in multiplayer. It’s a more traditional business model, like games of yore and we like that.

I wish MC4 was like this.. I had to spend $30 to get weapons and accessories… I don’t even play it anymore…..
I have MC5 and as far as I can tell there are no iaps, everything is unlocked more battlefield style where you earn it by gaining exp and killing.
Do you still need to be on WiFi in order to play??????
yup, unfortunately
Well there goes my hope of ever playing this game :(
NO you do not I am playing on my data connection with Wi-Fi disabled right now
apologies I thought he meant data/WiFi. no need to get angry
I just don’t want to have less people to shoot at due to misinformation ;)
You know what is weird though? It has drastically lower resolution when you are on data compared to WiFi, I am unsure why but the difference is like WiFi= Better than MC4 and Data= Worse than MC2
yea this game is really dependent on a fast internet connection. online multiplayer requires WiFi.
Meh, overreaction with this post ignore it..
