Samsung’s been known to make noise about upcoming flagships, and they’re starting to let the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 teasers fly. The latest one emphasizes the importance of handwriting in society. Indeed, it is important for folks to have a good grasp on handwriting even if typing and voice input has taken the world by storm.
They no doubt contend that their Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will bring you the best of both the digital and borderline ancient worlds. While I personally have never taken any serious notes using the S Pen, it certainly is a valid option for those who might not have a good old pen and pad handy.
There haven’t been any rumors of significant changes to Samsung’s on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, though we’re not sure what else they could do to improve on it — it’s already pretty advanced for a smartphone’s standards. Not many other stylus-equipped devices come with Wacom-based technology with pressure sensitivity and support for hover detection.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will certainly shape up to be an impressive device on paper. Here’s what’s rumored to be in store for us once the device is finally made official:
- 5.7-inch Quad HD display
- 2560 x 1440 screen resolution (515 ppi)
- Exynos Cortex A57 & A53 or;
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 805
- 3GB or 4GB RAM
- 16MP camera with OIS
And if that list is anything to go by we imagine the rest of the device should stack up quite well. The device is being unveiled at Samsung’s Unpacked 2014 Episode 2 event on September 3rd, and we’ll be there in full force to catch all the action. Stay tuned!
Would be cool for having 5.7″ device in the form factor of the G3 or smaller.
They could do it, the screen’s not too big, they’d just need to cut the bezel more.
I don’t know why all the blogs keep posting that obviously photoshopped box as if it really was the Note 4. The leaked images of the Note 4 are quite different, as is the phone shown in this video. Look at the frames where they pull the pen out of the phone: the bright metal frame is very obvious, and the image on the box doesn’t have that metal frame. The image looks exactly like a Note 3.
I’m ready to Note 4. Giving my Note 3 to my girl friend (nice guy) snagging myself the Note 4 and then a week later the iPhone 6. Be broke after that.
I’ll pass and wait for the 5.7″ iPhone 6 (since this time its at least changing its shape and finally bigger screen). Samsung is turning into apple the way they design there products. All cookie cutter shapes, colors and design queues. They need to make a damn phone that is made out of something other than plastic. And besides the crappy ass midrange internals phone they just released that was made out aluminum. I know Moto and Oppo can’t be the only manufactures that can make a phone out of Carbon Fiber and Kevlar. The Note is supposed to be a flagship phone that they charge a premium for, then they need to give us more than just a stylus and .6 of inch bigger screen than the s5 for the money where spending to get it.
I thought Samsung was moving toward the cardboard boxes with wood print for the latest devices? Why is this white and why does the picture look like a Note 3? I don’t think this authentic at all.
