Today, a smorgasbord of Google app updates are hitting the Play Store. Everything from YouTube, Google Play Movies & TV, Android Wear Google Wallet, Google Play Games — it’s a bit overwhelming. No matter, here’s a few screenshots of the newly redesigned Google Docs to give you an idea of what to expect from Google Drive, Google Slides, and Google Sheets. For the most part, they all look exactly like this only with different toolbar colors.
All of the above apps have been infused with Google’s fresh new Material Design and feature smaller feature tweaks like the addition of an “Incoming” button in the sidebar menu. As always, feel free to wait for the updates to roll out to your area, or download for manual installation here: Google Drive 2.1.424.13.35 | Google Docs 1.3.422.14.35 | Google Slides 1.0.952.14.35 | Google Sheets 1.3.422.12.35
Probably could have done this all in one article with the rest of the other Google apps. But anyways, bring on material design
Agreed, 17 diff articles outlining google apps that got the new interface treatment is not warranted. You could have simply said “all google apps got the new interface, enjoy”. Guess there isnt much else going on in the android world yet the boss needs to see his employee’s working. DAMN THE MAN
I just received an update to Google drive which is version 2.1.424.13.36, newer than the one posted above
Even Earth has been updated, I’d thought they’d left it to die it’s been that long since they did an update for it.
I only got the update to Sheets… weird…
Edit: Nevermind yes I did…
Why did they messed up”Shared with me”?! What is this Incoming bullcrap?
