The minds behind one of the largest volunteer ran Android venues around, the Big Android BBQ, have announced an upcoming event this Spring. The first Big Android Meat & Greet took place last summer at Google IO 2014 and it looks like the follow up to that successful event will take place on April, 4th in Alexandria, Virginia.
The BAMGDC (Big Android Meat & Greet – Washington, D.C.) event taking place in Alexandria, VA will include a Code Kitchen for developers and an evening boating bonanza for partying and networking with fine Android folks from around the community. Details are scare for now, but it looks like we’ll get more information in early January.
The Big Android BBQ started out as a Texas only event, making it hard for Android developers and fans to make the yearly pilgrimage. Now, with events in San Francisco, California and the upcoming Alexandria, Virginia event, attending one of these events should be a whole heck of a lot easier for many people. As always, Phandroid will be in attendance and we hope to see you there. Will you be going to the Big Android Meat & Greet in April? Don’t forget to bring your flippy floppies.
