Hands-on with Lenovo’s Vibe X2 Pro, Vibe Band 10, and…selfie robot?

Lenovo has been busy buying Motorola and building some devices of their own. We got a chance to check out three devices that are vastly different from one another. They showed off the Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro phone, the Lenovo Vibe Band 10 for fitness, and a robot for taking selfies.

The Vibe X2 Pro has a cool tri-layer design. The back, edges, and front are all different colors. It’s powered by a 64-bit octa-core processor, with a 5.3-inch 1080p display, and 13MP camera. It also has an external flash (video) if you really need to get good photos in low-light conditions. It will be available in April.

Next up is the Lenovo Vibe Band 10. Everyone has a wearable these days, and now Lenovo does too. It’s not much to look at, but the one benefit is the e-ink display. So while the watch shows you notifications you won’t have to charge it for nearly a week. It’s only $89, but you can find better.

Last, but certainly not least, is the Lenovo Vibe Fiebot. Let’s just call it the Selfie Bot. You can attach your phone to this robotic tripod and use the remote to move it around to take the perfect selfie. The Selfie Bot can also be set up to follow your face or the remote. It’s the perfect example of the weird stuff you see at CES.
