AccuWeather adds support for Android Wear

Android Wear devices come equipped with Google weather cards. If enabled, there should always be a card for your “Home” location and wherever you are currently located. This works pretty good, but you might want something with more in-depth weather data. AccuWeather has just made their Android app compatible with Wear.

When you open the AccuWeather app with your voice or from the app list you’ll be greeted with much more weather information. You can see the current conditions, precipitation report, hourly forecast, and alerts for things like flooding or wind chill. This is a nice option for people who want just a little more than the Google weather cards.

AccuWeather for Android is available for free with ads (on the phone) or for $3 without ads. The Android Wear integration should work the same for both versions.

Ever since I flipped open my first phone I've been obsessed with the devices. I've dabbled in other platforms, but Android is where I feel most at home.
