Amazon is holding a quick sale on the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini today. $360 (a little more or less depending on which color you get) will get you a small, yet capable version of Samsung’s 2015 flagship. It doesn’t pack quite the same punch as the Samsung Galaxy S5, but for half the cost there shouldn’t be many complaints.
Specs for the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini include a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED display, a 1.4GHz quad-core processor, an 8 megapixel rear camera, a 2.1 megapixel front camera, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and more. It can be used on a wide variety of 2G, 3G and 4G networks to boot:
2G: GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900, 3G: 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100, 4G: LTE 800 / 850 / 900 / 1800 / 2100 / 2600
Not too shabby if you’re a Samsung fan who can’t justify spending more money for one of the manufacturer’s better phones. The deal likely won’t last long so be sure to order one soon if you’re interested.
Too bad it’s not compatible with AT&T LTE.
So, how is that different from T-Mobile’s Galaxy Avant, which Walmart sells for $150? Edit: Seems to be close, but different cpu, camera, and display. http://www.versusos.com/samsung-galaxy-avant-vs-samsung-galaxy-s5-mini-comparison/
Well this is called the Galaxy S 5 mini. so the names being different is one thing.
But meaningless. For example, S3 mini was almost identical to the second incarnation of Galaxy Exhibit. I thought the same was going on here, but not quite.
