Samsung Galaxy Note 4 owners on AT&T are waking up to a very nice treat today. The company has announced that the upgrade to Android 5.0 Lollipop has started rolling out. It’s 1.2GB in size, and WiFi is a requirement to download it over-the-air. You’ll be looking for build LRX22C.N910AUCU1COC2, and this changelog doesn’t make it sound like much is changing:
- Android 5.0 (Lollipop)
- Service additions:
- Find My Mobile
- Reactivation lock
- Stability improvements
That said, you already know about all the goodness Android 5.0 Lollipop brings on its own so just get excited. Head to Settings > About Device > Software Updates to check for it right away.

I just checked with a S5 and got a strange message. It said to check again in 1 hour and 12 minutes…waited my time and checked again. I was simply told my software was up to date. No luck.

Agreed, but, JMHO:
Until most of the bugs are confirmed to be exterminated, I’m in no hurry to update to LOLLIPOP.
Everything’s working just fine on 4.4.4,nothing from 5.x jumps out & screams Gotta Have.
Hopefully they have something good up their sleeves…

My AT&T Note 3 is also getting the update right now. It’s about 1GB
Where is my T mobile note 4 update? Why is everyone event Sprint getting update before us? This sucks. I feel kind of left out of the Android 5.0 Lollipop party :-(
I waited for this? A few new menus? Email looks the same. Not impressed.
