Plex for Android gets big Material Design overhaul
Plex users will be treated to a new app when they update today. The developers were hard at work on bringing Material Design, and it shows. They made sure all the media browsing parts of the app were fully up to date and in-tune with Material Design guidelines, so there should no longer be any corners of the app where the design language doesn’t shine through.
A few other changes in this release include multi-part video playback, a long-requested feature, channel searching, and rich sorting and filtering capabilities for Android TV, and the ability to switch quality and select audio and subtitles during playback for Chromecast users.
