What happens when you trick Apple fans with an iPhone running Android? They actually love it
As Android fans first and foremost, we have no problem admitting that iOS has a few things going for it. It’s not our cup of tea, mind you (we have dabbled in iOS in the past), but we’ve been around the block more than a few times to know that we don’t blindly pledge allegiance to any one smartphone maker, or even platform. But for many of the masses, Apple has built such a strong brand that some people will flock to it no matter what. In many ways, Apple has become the Versace of tech and while some would have you believe they actually prefer iOS over Android, others are simply following a brand.
There’s probably no better way to illustrate this than a new video from pranksters Dit Is Normaal. In the video, an interviewer strolls around the streets, asking people what they think of iOS 9 on the iPhone 6. What these people don’t know is the iPhone is actually one of those cheap Chinese knockoffs running Android — not iOS.
Of course, everyone ends up loving it and we can all have a laugh knowing that despite now being closet Android fans, these people would never betray the house Steve Jobs built. They don’t know what they’re missing.
